Aseptic pharmacy

Helping hospitals improve patient safety by manufacturing medicines more efficiently and accurately

CDC F on site

We provide a full range of solutions to support aseptic units within the pharmacy department of hundreds of hospitals throughout the UK, Europe and Asia.

We have particular expertise in partnering with Cancer Centres who are providing advanced radiotherapy, chemotherapy injectable medicines and new generation treatments such as gene therapies and immunotherapies, in a sterile environment. Whether you need to efficiently produce batch and individual doses of cytotoxic drugs, or increase capacity for clinical trials, our range of isolators and laminar airflow cabinets can be adapted to fit your specific requirements.

As well as oncology, aseptic pharmacies provide services for other hospital departments where injectable medicines are used including ophthalmology, gastroenterology, rheumatology and paediatrics. Our isolators are used for CIVAS (Central Intravenous Additive Service), TPN compounding and bagging, preparation of IV solutions and eye-drops, ampoule filling, etc.)

Next generation of ultra-clean air and controlled environments

The Covid-19 pandemic has accelerated the pace of digitalisation, rapidly replacing paper-based processes. In addition, there has never been more pressure to increase output per Pharmacy Technician. In aseptic pharmacies, the stakes are high. Research by the EEPRU in 2018 found that there are an estimated 237 million medication errors per year in the NHS in England.

We partner with leading medical technology specialists, to integrate cutting-edge solutions into our isolator ranges to increase output, improve compounding processes, speed up decontamination cycles and remove paper from medication workflows.
