How Envair and TCS joined forces to become Envair Technology, the first choice pharmaceutical solutions provider

Envair Technology offers the widest portfolio of clean air and containment solutions that facilitate drug development and manufacturing in the pharmaceutical sector.

From hospital pharmacies making up personalised oncology treatments, development laboratories pioneering new gene therapies or contract manufacturers tasked with producing medicines containing high potent APIs, our range of isolators, safety cabinets and fume cupboards will deliver the clean air environment you need.

A history of innovation

Envair Technology was formed in 2019 after the acquisition of Envair and then TCS in 2020. In April 2024, the integration of these three trusted brands was completed, with all products and services rebranding to the Envair Technology name and new logo going forward.

Both original brands have long standing reputations for excellence in their respective fields and the combined strength of the group further enhances our ability to meet client needs. With double digit sales growth, clients including AstraZeneca, Pfizer, the NHS and Oxford University continue to put their trust in us. Whilst the names may have changed, the company values and high standards remain steadfast.

Our 80+ strong workforce is largely drawn from the North West of England, where skills and expertise in pharmaceuticals and manufacturing are in strong supply. This allows us to focus on quality and innovation; we are certified to ISO 9001 standards and have won several awards including being one of the Design Council’s Millennium Products. We are also included on the Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) manufacturer database which recognises our commitment to sustainability.

Focus on quality

All Envair Technology brands are certified to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management Systems (QMS), to ensure the consistency of quality products and services.

We publish the compliance standards of each piece of equipment we manufacture on our data sheets, providing peace of mind about air quality and EC GMP grading that can be achieved. We can also supply containment performance test data on request.

As hacking and online data breaches continue to increase globally, we have gained Cyber Essentials accreditation, a set of technical controls to help organisations to protect themselves against common online security threats.

Across our sites, we are working towards ISO 14001 Environmental Management System (EMS) standards, giving consideration to:

In response to increasing demand from clients, we are actively working on solutions to reduce the need for single use plastics or paper-based processes, lower volumes of air extraction without sacrificing performance, and improve process efficiency, for instance, by reducing the need for cleaning and cleaning validation.

Protecting our team

The health and safety of our team, whether working at one of our facilities or at clients’ sites, has always been paramount and we work to ISO 45001 Health & Safety Management System standards. At Envair Technology, we supplement our existing sterile workspaces, together with an in-house testing regime and remote working where possible.
