On 31st May, our Commercial Manager for Fume Cupboards, Todd Payne ran the AJ Bell Great Manchester Run Half-Marathon to raise funds for Springhill Hospice.

As over 38,000 took to the streets of Manchester to run, Todd successfully completed his 13.1miles and smashed his target time by crossing the line in just 2 hours and 6 minutes. Even better, he raised £775 for a local charity in the process.

Springhill Hospice in Rochdale provide care and support to people with a life-limiting illness and their loved ones. They give round the clock specialist end of life care in people’s homes and at the hospice.

This cause is close to our hearts at Envair Technology, as many of our clean air and containment solutions are used to prepare and develop medication for vulnerable patients like theirs. Also, many of us have known family and friends cared for in hospices like Springhill.

Congratulations to Todd and thanks to all those who sponsored him in support of the hospice’s valuable work. Todd’s dedication to improving his fitness over the last 18 months has been amazing and we were delighted to support him in this challenge.
