Five of our finest stepped up to take on the challenge of the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity Bus Pull.
Congratulations to Andrew Ellison, Todd Payne, Leon Thornton, Paul Murray and Chelsea Farrer, who stepped up to join 54 other teams in pulling together to support much needed homelessness initiatives across the region. Our team did us proud — pulling their bus 30 metres in 22.1 seconds to secure a heat winners’ trophy and 7th place on the leader board!
We’re delighted to have been part of this fantastic event at Manchester Central, with a fabulous and supportive atmosphere. Overall the event raised £38,000 for the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity, whose A Bed Every Night scheme provides a vital safety net for people at crisis point and forced to sleep on the streets.
No one deserves to be without a home or to face a night on the streets but the vital funds raised will help to eradicate homelessness in Manchester.
