Our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of our business, so we’re delighted to be shortlisted for the Sustainable/Ethical Manufacturer Award in this year’s Insider Made in the North West Awards.

From energy saving measures at our Heywood facility, to energy-efficient clean air solutions for our customers, we are focused on achieving our goal to be a net zero company by 2040. We have taken full control of our carbon accounting to ensure we prioritise the right projects to achieve our goal.

With many of our customers also making commitments to reach net zero, we have produced a series of energy-efficient clean air solutions, including innovations such as the installation of variable air volume (VAV) airflow for Fume Cupboards. Not only do these reduce the amount of air that each unit exhausts by approximately 75%, compared to constant air volume (CAV) airflow, but it has saved customers hundreds of thousands of pounds a year in air conditioning costs.

We’re very proud of our team for all their hard work and dedication that has enabled us to achieve this nomination. Driving forward our ambitious ESG policy has brought huge benefits for our business, as well as the broader environment.
